Below are our terms and conditions for Merrington Grange Cottages. Please take the time to read them before making a booking. Thank you.
Arrival and departure times
The cottages are available from 3pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure. Change over day is usually Saturday. Short breaks of a minimum stay of 3 nights are also available.
A deposit of £100 is required to confirm a booking or a deposit of 50% is required when booking accommodation for a 3 night stay. Payment is by cheque payable to Mrs S Hodgson or bank transfer. Payment of the balance of the total cost of the holiday is due 4 weeks before the date of which the holiday is due to commence.
If the holidaymaker finds it necessary to cancel the holiday before the final balance is due they should inform the owners immediately who will then endeavour to re-let the property. If the property is re-let, then all deposit monies will be returned less a £20 cancellation charge. If the property is not re-let then, unfortunately, all the deposit monies paid are forfeited.
If the holidaymaker finds it necessary to cancel the holiday after the final balance becomes due, whether or not the final balance has been paid, then unless the house is re-let the holidaymaker will be liable for the full cost of the holiday.
If for any reason we have to cancel your holiday our liability is limited to a full refund only. Visitors are responsible for their own holiday/travel/cancellation insurance.
Sorry no pets are allowed in the cottages.
Merrington Grange Cottages are no smoking properties.
Damage to the property/breakages
The holidaymaker undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and also undertakes to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The owner of the holiday property should be compensated for any damage and breakages which may occur (fair wear and tear excepted). Damage caused in or to the property must be reported immediately.
Personal injury or loss of property
We cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or injury sustained by any visitor, or for the loss or damage to any property brought on to the premises.
